Black women are my muse. Most of my art, whether digital or traditional, focuses around them. I make it my mission to paint black people because I feel we are underrepresented in all aspects of society, and especially as artists. I see white artists painting black people on Instagram and TikTok, but I don't see as many of us painting us. Let's change that.
I have been creating art since I was a child. It quickly became a passion; something I was good at and enjoyed doing. Receiving compliments for my drawings growing up meant the world to me, and it still does. I wanted to turn it into something I can share with many people, and have it be something they can resonate with. Art is one of the biggest parts of who I am, and I just hope that shows.
